Community Involvement / Participación en la comunidad
Attorney Gonzalez is very active in her community, locally in Wilmington and state wide.
She volunteers and has served on a number of Boards for area nonprofits and institutions. She regularly provides presentations on immigration law and educating individuals on their rights at area universities, public schools and churches, and frequently sponsors community events and festivals.

Lawyers for Literacy attorney reader (Snipes, Freeman & Gregory Elementary schools), GLOW Academy REACH afterschool mentor, YWCA volunteer, Hurricane Florence recovery with Latino Alliance, New Hanover for All, pro bono protest defense with Emancipate NC, internship partner with UNCW Spanish service learning students
